ITGambit Focus: Genomics & Clinical AI
Katie joined Intechgambit to help bridge the gap between raw genomic data and clinical precision medicine. She focused on performance evaluation for the Genomic Intelligence Analytics Tool (GIAT) a high-performance genomic data engine natively nested inside the Nexus-G platform designed to unlock hidden insights from massive biological datasets. By building data pipelines to ingest and clean raw genomic source data from the NCBI database, Katie helped optimize the platform’s environmental DNA (eDNA) tracking and taxonomic characterization modules, transforming public data into actionable precision tools to combat global biodiversity loss and disease transmission. On the clinical AI front, Katie focused on accelerating Intechgambit's generative modeling pipeline, helping map complex longitudinal patient trajectories to improve Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) diagnostics. Through this ongoing work, she gained deep, hands-on experience in high-fidelity dataset curation for generative AI, automated ETL pipeline engineering, and healthcare informatics frameworks highly marketable skills that align directly with enterprise standards for upcoming federal research initiatives with the NIH and NSF.

James B Beavan
Sophomore Georgia Tech, Mathematics Major with Data Science Concentration
ITGambit Focus: Data Science & Infrastructure
James joined Intechgambit to drive key testing and deployment milestones for the company's next-generation clinical software. He played a pivotal role in the final delivery of the Genomic Intelligence Analytics Tool (GIAT) to the LMU laboratory, participating in validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment packaging. This deployment introduces an innovative, zero-friction analytics engine to academic research, directly solving the industry-wide bottleneck of slow genomic data processing in fast-paced lab environments. Beyond genomics, James helps bridge the gap between Intechgambit’s tech and real-world emergency medicine. He contributed to ongoing research into EHR integration, assisting the team in designing the interoperability frameworks necessary to embed complex analytical tools directly into hospital ER systems like Epic. Through these initiatives, James built a robust professional portfolio in production-level software packaging, systems interoperability (EHR/Epic), and large-scale infrastructure performance modeling, positioning him at the forefront of the healthcare technology sector.

Kora Lee Jackson
Sophomore at University of Alaska Fairbanks Pursuing in Interdisciplinary studies focus on culture and Technology Integration and climate
ITGambit Focus: Seafood Tracer & Frontend
Kora contributed heavily to the development of the Seafood Tracer a high-profile, NSF Convergence Accelerator initiative led by Loyola Marymount University to build affordable, transparent digital tracking tools for wild fisheries. By helping develop integrated APIs to retrieve environmental data from community databases like iNaturalist, Kora supported a breakthrough technology aimed at stopping illegal fishing and protecting global marine sustainability. She assisted the engineering team by processing and cleaning the complex datasets required to train ResNet computer vision models for automated species identification. On the frontend development front, Kora brought her design skills to the development of Intechgambit’s corporate digital presence. Working alongside the web team, she helped translate the company's technical identity into a clean, modern interface. This dual exposure allowed Kora to build a versatile, highly competitive skill set spanning machine learning data preparation, API integration workflows, and responsive UI/UX frontend design, perfectly preparing her for cross-functional roles in tech.

Elena Wight

ITGambit Focus: Performance Benchmarking & Validation
Elena joined Intechgambit to help with the rigorous benchmarking and validation of the Nexus-G platform across diverse deployment environments. Her work focuses on a critical, innovative challenge in cloud computing: analyzing system efficiency and isolating performance bottlenecks between local machine configurations and highly scalable cloud architectures. By stress-testing the platform under heavy computational loads, Elena ensures that Nexus-G can reliably handle the massive data demands of modern, real-time clinical operations without system latency. On the analytical validation front, Elena provides critical quality assurance by conducting comparative studies that pit Intechgambit's advanced machine learning models directly against industry-standard bioinformatics workflows. This validation is aimed at providing more insight on how AI can deliver scientifically precise results at a fraction of traditional computing times. Through this role, Elena developed high-level expertise in cloud vs. local performance auditing, machine learning model cross-validation, and computational workflow optimization, making her an incredibly valuable asset to any data-driven engineering team.

Rose Jackson
Freshman Rochester Institute of Technology Premed student majoring in Global Public Health
ITGambit Focus: Bioinformatics & Partnerships
Rose serves as an analytical intern for Intechgambit’s flagship Nexus-G platform, focusing on the rigorous testing and benchmarking of its backend architecture. She evaluated the platform's core bioinformatics pipelines against existing industry tools to ensure competitive feature parity, helping refine a cloud-ready infrastructure capable of processing complex biological data at unprecedented speeds. Working alongside the engineering team, Rose helped configure local development environments and managed software installations across macOS systems to establish a stable testing baseline. On the collaborative research front, Rose worked directly alongside Intechgambit's strategic industry partners at LMU, Species Tracks LLC, and Data Monsoon LLC to map lab-based environmental DNA (eDNA) workflows. Managing the massive datasets ingested through Nexus-G, she helped launch the platform's initial pipeline benchmarking initiatives. Through these cross-industry collaborations, Rose gained highly sought-after industry skills in bioinformatics pipeline benchmarking, multi-partner data workflow management, and cross-platform environment configuration.
